A Solid Metal Remote for the Rogue Audio Sphinx

This silver Rogue Audio handset provides direct infrared control of a compatible Sphinx integrated amplifier. Its machined-metal construction offers a substantial alternative to a lost, damaged, or earlier plastic remote while keeping essential listening adjustments close at hand.

Compatible Products

Rogue Audio Sphinx original version
Rogue Audio Sphinx V2
Rogue Audio Sphinx V3
Rogue Audio Sphinx V3 Magnum

Compatibility and Controls

The Sphinx remote operates volume and mute functions supported by the amplifier. It does not provide source selection or power control. Because Rogue has offered several Sphinx revisions and upgrade paths, owners of modified units should confirm remote compatibility with the serial number before ordering.

Finally got this remote and it's so much heavier than I expected, which actually feels great in the hand. The silver finish matches the amp perfectly and the buttons have a satisfying click. Direct line-of-sight works from across the room without any fuss.

The machined-metal build feels absolutely solid in hand—way sturdier than the plastic remotes I’m used to. It paired instantly with my amp and the silver finish looks sharp on the coffee table. Exactly what I needed for direct control without fuss.
