The Bluesound RC1 provides direct infrared control of compatible Bluesound players. Adjust volume, control playback, choose from as many as ten presets, and access frequently used functions without opening the BluOS Controller app.

Setup Requirements

Bluesound’s published baseline requirement is a supported Gen 2 or Gen 2i player running BluOS 3.6.2 or later. Built-in Bluesound IR codes require no conventional programming. On later players, enable the BluOS Remote setting and make sure the player and RC1 use the same IR channel. Compatibility depends on the player’s firmware and infrared support.
