A Cooling Fan With a Thermostat You Can Read Across the Room
The AC Infinity AIRCOM T-series is a family of 17-inch component cooling fans with an LCD thermostat on the front panel. Each one sits on top of a receiver, amplifier or processor and moves 160 to 210 CFM of heat out of the cabinet at 21 to 24 dBA. Each stands just 1.5 inches tall.
Three exhaust directions are on this page, chosen from the option menu. The rear-exhaust version suits a cabinet with a rear vent. The top-exhaust version moves the most air at 210 CFM and suits open shelving. The front-exhaust version blows into the room for cabinets with a closed back.
Every version runs from the included 6-foot power adapter and needs no wiring inside your gear. Two USB ports on the back power up to six more AC Infinity fans on the same program.
Where the LCD Controller Earns Its Keep
Set the Temperature, Then Let the Display Do the Watching
AUTO mode works like a thermostat. The fans start at your set temperature and stop once the reading falls 4°F below it. That buffer can be tightened to 2°F. SMART mode drops one of six speeds for every 4°F under the setting. A separate alarm point runs the fans flat out and beeps until things cool down.
Four buttons handle everything. Hold Mode to lock the panel against stray presses. Hold the Leaf button to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius, or tap it to turn the display off while the program keeps running. Settings survive a power outage.
Silicone Mounts and 67,000-Hour Bearings
Each fan or blower uses a PWM-controlled motor and dual ball bearings rated for 67,000 hours, hung on silicone mounts so vibration never reaches the enclosure. The aluminum and steel frame is rated for 30 pounds on top; keep the grille clear on the top-exhaust version. Power draw is 9.5 watts from a 12-volt adapter.

How Does It Connect to Your System?
Plug the adapter into a wall outlet or a power conditioner, then into the jack on the back of the fan. Set the AIRCOM on the component with its exhaust pointed where your cabinet lets air out. Press Mode until AUTO shows. Set your start temperature with the arrows.
