AC Infinity Aircom S7 Component Cooling Fan System

Twelve Inches of Quiet Cooling for a Compact Shelf
The AC Infinity AIRCOM S7 is a 12-inch component cooling fan. It sits on top of a receiver or amplifier and moves the heat out of the cabinet. Two dual-ball bearing fans deliver up to 140 CFM at a rated 19 dBA, and the steel chassis is just 1.5 inches tall.
AC Infinity built it for gear that lives in a cabinet or on a tight shelf. The two fans draw heat up out of the component and send it out through the top grille. It is sized for half-width and compact gear such as streamers, smaller receivers, game consoles and network boxes.
Setup takes minutes. Plug in the included 6-foot power adapter, set the fan on the component, and press a button. Nothing is mounted, screwed or wired inside your equipment, and there is no app to install.
How the Thermal Trigger Does the Thinking
Four Modes and Four Speeds From Two Buttons
The front controller has a Mode button and a Speed button. Mode cycles through ON, AUTO, SMART and OFF. In AUTO the fans start at 88°F and stop at 84°F. In SMART they slow one step for every 2°F the reading sits below 88°F. Speed sets one of four levels. Settings survive a power outage.
Silicone Mounts and 67,000-Hour Bearings
Each fan uses a PWM-controlled motor and dual ball bearings rated for 67,000 hours. The fans hang on silicone mounts, so vibration does not reach the enclosure. The frame supports 10 pounds, but this model exhausts through its top, so keep the grille clear. The unit draws 5.2 watts from a 12-volt adapter.
Who Is This Component Cooling Fan Best For?
- Owners of a hot-running AV receiver — up to 140 CFM pulled through the vents, so thermal shutdowns stop interrupting movie night
- Receivers that vent through the top — the AIRCOM S7 sits over those vents and lifts the heat straight out, so the receiver never fights its own hot air
- Anyone who values quiet — 19 dBA at full speed, and slower SMART speeds below 88°F, mean you hear the movie, not the fan
- Set-and-forget users — the trigger points and speeds are built in, so nothing needs an app, a probe or a schedule
- Your gear sits in a fully closed cabinet — the AIRCOM S7 needs the warm air to leave the cabinet, so it belongs on open shelving or in a vented cabinet. If yours is sealed, an open rack from our audio racks gives the same gear room to breathe
How Does It Connect to Your System?
Plug the adapter into a wall outlet or a power conditioner, then into the jack on the back of the fan. Set the AIRCOM S7 on top of the component with its intake over the component's hottest vents, and leave the top grille uncovered. Press Mode for AUTO or SMART, then Speed to pick a level.
No wiring, no software, no drilling.
Pairs Well With
The AIRCOM S7 protects whatever runs hot in your system:
- Home theater receivers — the component most likely to overheat in a cabinet
- Stereo amplifiers — Class A and Class AB amps run warm by design and last longer kept cool
- Audio racks — an open rack gives the exhausted air somewhere to go
- Power conditioners — a spare outlet for the fan adapter alongside your gear
Frequently Asked Questions
What comes in the box?
The AIRCOM S7 fan system and a 6-foot power adapter for a standard wall outlet. Nothing else is needed.
How loud is it?
AC Infinity rates it at 19 dBA at full speed. In SMART mode the fans slow down as the temperature drops, so they run quieter most of the time.
Does my cabinet need ventilation?
Air has to get out. Open shelving, an open-back cabinet or a vented cabinet all work, because this model lifts heat up and out through its top.
What is the warranty?
AC Infinity covers the fan system for two years from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship.
