The IsoAcoustics GAIA III is the smallest of the original GAIA isolators. It is sold here singly and as a set of four, and each speaker takes four. A set carries a floorstanding speaker or subwoofer of up to 70 pounds. The feet screw into the inserts the factory spikes came out of.
A floorstander drives energy into the floor, and the floor sends it back up into the cabinet. IsoAcoustics designs the GAIA to manage that energy inside the foot. The housing is fixed to the speaker, and only the lower isolator touches the floor.

A set of four GAIA III carries 70 pounds, so each foot handles 17.5. No minimum is published. A foot carrying far less than its rating never settles into its working range. Each GAIA III is 1.7 inches across and 1.5 inches tall. HiFi Pig describes a stainless steel body, dark chrome plated, over a molded rubber isolator. It replaces the spike or foot rather than sitting under it. Three thread adaptors come in the box: M6-1.0, M8-1.25 and 1/4 inch-20.

How Do You Set Them Up?
Unscrew the factory spikes and match the thread. One side of the adaptor goes into the speaker and the other into the GAIA housing. Thread each stud in at least four full turns. Turn the logo to face your seat, then tighten the locking nut against the speaker base.
Lift the speaker into place rather than sliding it, since the lower isolators grip the floor. On thick carpet, add a carpet disc under each foot. Level the cabinet, check that the logos face forward, and play.
