Audiophile Quality AC Duplex Outlet

Treat your hi-fi and home theater gear to an AC wall outlet that goes the extra mile compared to standard 'hardware store' outlets. Your components deserve much better.

The Cardas Audio 4181US Duplex Power Outlet features copper contact surfaces plated with rhodium over silver for improved electrical contact and current transfer. Its amazing grip tension provides solid contact and superb plug retention on the heaviest of cables.

Configurable in Many Ways

The Cardas 4181US outlet is configurable in many ways, thanks to removable jumpers that let you isolate the line (hot) and neutral of each outlet. The top and bottom outlet can be joined (as with a standard duplex), or they can be completely electrically isolated from each other. Either outlet has its own ground terminal. Use one terminal, both, or neither, depending on your application.

Ruby ★★★★★

My system's been dead quiet since I installed this duplex outlet—the background hiss I didn't realize was there is just gone. The grip on the plugs feels far more solid than what I had before, and my amp's soundstage opened up noticeably.

Miles Z. ★★★★★

Swapped out the cheap builder-grade outlet for this duplex and the noise floor on my system dropped noticeably, especially during quiet passages. The tighter grip on the plugs feels reassuring too, no more sagging cords. Probably placebo for some, but my ears say it's worth every penny.
